Inventory Woes
With how much I am looking forward to Legion I have started making a list of all the toons I would like to have at 100 by the time it lands. In doing so I have started freeing up some character slots on my main realm. Getting rid of duplicate classes I will never level made me realize how much of a gaming pack rat I am. On my main realm I have toons in three guilds. Two of them are banker guilds (for lack of a better term) that simply have bank space should I need something for “later”. I decided it was time to start auctioning (if they would sell) and vendoring all that crap I know I will never need again.
Then I had few thoughts. Why do we not need this stuff anymore? Why are professions dependent on top level mats? Do they need to be??
Would it be so bad if a level 110 Blacksmith pattern needed a few Copper to complete? Top level recipes needing some Golden Darters?? Even Tailoring Pattern that required some Wool Cloth??
Think of what the landscape would look like if people had to go get mats from past continents, people would be out in the world collecting old mats for patterns or to sell. Could even be a huge boost to world PVP, and it could create a nightmare for the low level new players. Trade chat might actually contain some trading, just imagine..
So what do you do with all your old expac mats?? Would you enjoy a way to use them other than vendoring or just sitting in your bank?? Let me know in the comments below…
